Brian Williams is gearing up for Prime Video’s Election Night Special

Brian Williams will host a live Election Night special on Prime Video on November 5 at 5:00 p.m. ET/2:00 p.m. PT, where the former NBC anchor will share poll results and commentary in real time as the streamer goes into the live -News immerses reporting.

“After 41 years in the business – from local news to network broadcasts to cable news – this seems to be the next big thing. And the global marketplace Amazon is a natural home for this unique company,” Williams said in a statement. “Together we will follow the action on election night wherever it takes us.”

Williams will be joined by a variety of news and politics experts who will provide exclusive insights and analysis from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. The guests will be announced in the coming weeks.

“This nonpartisan live special will draw on key news sources and complement the various partner news channels available on Prime Video. Our comprehensive offering is designed to provide today’s viewer with a direct and seamless way to stay informed about the election results,” added Albert Cheng, vice president of Prime Video US.

The special is produced by Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner of White Cherry Entertainment, with Jonathan Wald serving as executive producer and showrunner. Weiss will also serve as director.

“Election Night Live” will be available in English to Amazon customers in most countries where Prime Video is available, regardless of whether they have a Prime membership or not.

In addition to “Election Night Live,” Prime Video offers all Amazon customers ABC News Live, CBS News 24/7, CNN Headlines, Fox’s LiveNOW, NBC News Now, Noticias Univision 24/7, Reuters and The Washington Post Television for free to the tab “Live TV”.
