Jeff Lewis’ update on the RHOC Shannon Beador podcast drama

Jeff Lewis’ update on the RHOC Shannon Beador podcast drama

Jeff Lewis has always been the man who digs deep for gossip. The former Bravoleb is a taste acquisition due to his snappy nature. But after leaving the network, he got his own podcast, allowing him to continue dabbling in the Bravoverse. Along the way, Jeff struck up a friendship with Real Housewives of Orange County by Shannon Beadorand the two became inseparable. But she may have found herself in trouble after a recent appearance on his show.

Shannon Beador’s time on the podcast was enlightening

In April, Shannon went on the podcast with permission from her lawyer to maintain her innocence. But what actually happened was that she gave her co-stars and listeners something to think about when it came to John Janssen’s story. Shannon began by saying, “He gave me money twice. And there were many times when I would pay for things or give something, which you would say would be the equivalent of me giving him money.” Jeff began by explaining, “He gave you some money. Unsolicited.” Shannon replied, “No, I actually needed money at the time. He said, ‘I wish you could get a low-interest loan,’ and I said, ‘Well, you have money.'” So she basically asked him for the money.

The mother of three admitted that John paid for things in the second half of the relationship. But in the first half she was responsible for travel and food costs. Shannon noted that she had offered to pay John exactly the amount he wanted. But he turned down the deal because he didn’t want to sign a mutual denigration agreement.” You could hear Shannon’s exasperation during the interview as she added, “I don’t want to think about John Janssen anymore.”

Jeff Lewis claims Shannon Beador faked on his show

During the show, Jeff also asked if she thought John heard the DUI accident that happened right outside his window. At the time, Shannon claimed she hadn’t thought about it. The podcast host sheds light on the issues Shannon identified during his show. Last week’s episode of “Real Housewives of Orange County” showed the women getting pretty angry at Shannon’s wording and thinking she might have lied to them. Heather Dubrow’s conversation with Shannon was repeated when the Real for Real owner shared a text message from John after the crash.

During the podcast episode, Shannon told the 54-year-old host that it never occurred to her that John might have heard the accident. Trying to do damage control, Jeff noted, “It never occurred to Shannon; That really wasn’t the case.” However, Jeff thought it was likely that John had heard his ex attacking the Newport Beach house and noted that the thought came to him immediately. Jeff even shared that he had “been to John Janssen many times and when I got all the information about the accident, I said, ‘Wait a minute.’ You backed out.”

Jeff continued, “Literally, you got to this house in seconds.” She says, “Seconds.” And I said, “Okay,” and I had said that to Shane, and then I mentioned it to Shannon. And I don’t regret it because I’m her friend. But I said, you know, the front door… It’s like a house on the water, and then the front door is right at the front. So you have to walk along the long sidewalk. So I said, “I just don’t understand it, Shannon.” How could he not have heard that accident, because that would have been a huge accident?” Jeff did his own research and added, “I think he could probably hear the crash. Or maybe he didn’t. Or maybe he was drunk or whatever,” he argued. Remember, this is all from the perspective of Jeff, who wasn’t there, and Shannon, who clearly wasn’t in her right mind.

Real Housewives of Orange County fans learned that Jeff was supposed to film with Shannon to talk about the accident, but he ended up backing out. The designer shared: “The problem was that the litigation had started. And so I said, “I’m not doing this because he’s argumentative.” And I said, “Even though I don’t know.” I don’t know for sure. I make no claims. I’m just saying that I only question it because I’ve been in that house.” It seems that Shannon almost had an ally, but Jeff explained: “Bravo wouldn’t compensate me. So I said, ‘I can’t do that.’ I’m like, ‘I can’t risk that.’ I can’t risk getting sued.”

Real Housewives of Orange County is streaming on Peacock.
