Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of minor and multiple counts of sexual assault in new civil lawsuits

Six new accusers of Sean “Diddy” Combs have filed a lawsuit against the music mogul for rape, sexual abuse and sexual assault.

Two Jane Does and four John Does filed civil lawsuits against Combs, 54, in New York on Monday, marking the first accusers of 120 alleged victims with claims against Combs that Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee announced earlier this month.

The cases cover alleged incidents from 1995 to 2021, including the alleged sexual assault of a minor and multiple rape allegations. Several of the attacks are said to have taken place at the infamous parties that Combs became known for over his three decades in the music industry.

The lawsuits name Combs’ various companies as defendants. One of the men who accuses Combs of sexually assaulting him at a Macy’s in 2008 names the department store as a defendant, and one of the women who claims Combs raped her at a hotel names Marriott as a defendant. USA TODAY has reached out to representatives from Macy’s, Marriott and Combs for comment.

Buzbee announced in an Oct. 1 press conference that he is representing the 120 accusers on allegations of “violent sexual assault or rape,” “facility sex with a controlled substance,” “dissemination of video recordings” and “sexual abuse of minors.” against the troubled businessman.

“We will expose the enablers who enabled this behavior behind closed doors,” Buzbee said at the time. “We will investigate this matter regardless of who the evidence implicates.”

Buzbee added: “It’s already a long list, but because of the nature of this case, we’re going to make damn sure we’re right before we do that. But the names we’re about to name…are names that will shock you.

This new wave of legal action follows Combs’ arrest in September and subsequent charges of sex trafficking, extortion and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He pleaded not guilty and faces a criminal trial on May 5. The rapper, who has maintained his innocence despite an avalanche of civil lawsuits filed last year alleging decades of sexual and physical abuse, remains incarcerated in the Special Housing Unit at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

Combs has denied all allegations made against him.

Diddy’s lawyers call lawsuits ‘clear attempts to gain publicity’

In a statement shared with USA TODAY on Monday, Combs’ lawyers said: “The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s deluge of filings were clear attempts at publicity. Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts of their legal defense and the integrity of the legal process.

“The truth will prevail in court: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman.”

During his Oct. 1 news conference, Buzbee stood in front of a backdrop that displayed the number of a hotline number (1-800-200-7474) for people with allegations against Combs. Buzbee’s law firm is working with co-counsel AVA Law Group and local New York-based attorney Curis Law to file civil lawsuits against Combs.

“We review every call we receive. We had to turn some away. We ask for confirmation for each one. For each one we ask for the identity of witnesses. We also collected images, videos and texts. We’re checking the venues.” “We’re checking the dates,” Buzbee said. “We would like to confirm that the claims made are legitimate and substantiated.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of raping a woman in a New York hotel

A certain Jane Doe accused Combs of raping her in a Manhattan Marriott hotel room in 2004, when she was 19 years old.

The accuser says she met Combs at a photo shoot where the rapper invited her and her friend to an exclusive party at his hotel. At the hotel, Jane Doe said a man “grabbed” her and her friend, took them to a bedroom and told them, “You know what you’re here for.”

In the bedroom, whose door was locked, Combs allegedly became “aggressive” toward the two women and “eventually began forcibly touching them without consent,” the lawsuit says. He then allegedly ordered the accuser’s friend to perform oral sex on him “otherwise he would have them both killed.”

Combs also forced Jane Doe to undress under the threat of violence and “ultimately groped, molested and raped Ms. Doe while she begged him to stop,” the lawsuit says.

Diddy, multiple men raped an unnamed man at the 2021 party, the lawsuit says

A man claims he was drugged and assaulted by Combs and several other unnamed men at a party in 2021.

John Doe’s lawsuit says he became “disoriented” after consuming an alcoholic beverage at the party in New York, and while he was confused and trying to leave, he heard a male voice saying, “Wait a minute said and promised to help him. The accuser then remembers that he was in a bedroom and could not move or speak.

“Several men began sexually assaulting him through sodomy and other coercive acts,” the lawsuit says. “He clearly remembers seeing Combs naked on top of him at one point during the attack,” and he “was sodomized by at least three men.”

In another lawsuit, a man claims he was sexually assaulted by Diddy at a Macy’s store in New York in 2008.

The man says he worked as a consultant for Ecko Clothing, a competitor to Combs’ Sean John clothing line. He claims he was in the stockroom of a Macy’s in Manhattan in 2008 when Combs and three bodyguards entered.

After turning a corner in the storage room, the John Doe was “hit hard in the base of the neck, possibly with a pistol,” the lawsuit says, forcing him “to his hands and knees” where “he saw that each of them…” Bodyguards had weapons in their waistbands. (John Doe) heard several voices shouting things like, “I’m going to kill you.”

Combs then allegedly approached the man while he was on his hands and knees and “proceeded to forcibly and brutally orally rape him for at least two minutes” while making derogatory comments.

“After he finished, Combs (John Does) threw his head to the side and said words such as, ‘Shut up or I’ll kill you,'” the lawsuit states.

Security guard claims drug use and sexual assault at Diddy party

Another John Doe claims Combs sexually assaulted him at a party in 2006.

The man says he was working for a security company at the time and took a job at a Combs “white party” in East Hampton. He says he felt “extremely ill” at the party after consuming two alcoholic drinks provided to him by Combs.

Because the man was disoriented, Combs claims he “forcibly pushed him into an open van,” restrained him and sexually assaulted him.

Biggie Smalls’ music video party was the scene of an alleged rape, a lawsuit claims

In another lawsuit, a woman says she attended a promotional party for the Biggie Smalls music video “One More Chance” in New York in 1995, where Combs approached her and asked to speak. When they were alone in the bathroom, he “unexpectedly started kissing her,” she says.

When she tried to break away, the woman claimed Combs “violently hit her, slamming her head against the wall and causing her to fall to the floor.” He then allegedly beat her again, lifted her dress and raped her. After the attack, Combs allegedly threatened the woman by warning, “You better not tell anyone about this or you’ll disappear.”

Unnamed Male Minor Claims He Was Attacked at Diddy White Party

Another accuser says he was 16 years old when he was sexually assaulted by Combs at a “white party” in the Hamptons in 1998.

At the party, the man claimed Combs instructed him to “drop his pants and expose his penis so Combs could inspect it,” claiming it was a “rite of passage and the path to becoming a star.” Combs then allegedly grabbed the man’s genitals.

“As a result of Combs’ sexual assault of John Doe while he was a minor, John Doe suffered damages, including pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment and emotional anguish,” the lawsuit states. “The interaction continues to humiliate and shame John Doe.”
