Woman injured in stabbing and shooting in Fall River has died

(WJAR) — A woman injured in a stabbing and shooting incident in Fall River on Wednesday has died, the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

Remy Aull, 42, was found with a single gunshot wound at a home on Dickinson Street in Fall River around 4:30 a.m.

According to the Fall River Police Department, a 55-year-old man was also found at the scene with multiple stab wounds to the head and neck area.

Both were transported to local trauma centers, police told NBC 10 on Wednesday.

Aull was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday.

While authorities have said what type of injuries the two parties suffered, they have not said under what circumstances those injuries occurred.

The DA’s office says the investigation is active and ongoing.
