One injured in stabbing in downtown Lexington; Suspect arrested

Victim hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries while the investigation continues

LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – According to Lexington Police, one person was hospitalized following a stabbing in downtown Lexington last night around 10 p.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of South Broadway and West Vine Street.

Officials said the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirm a suspect has been arrested in connection with the stabbing. The investigation is ongoing and police continue to collect evidence and interview witnesses.
