Crash in New Haven closes MLK Boulevard and freeway exits

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WFSB) – A car accident blocked a major road in New Haven on Thursday.

The incident was first reported around 4 a.m. on MLK Boulevard

State Police said the investigation into the collision forced the closure of the MLK Boulevard exits from I-91 and I-95.

It is unclear how many vehicles were involved in the accident and whether there were any injuries.

Police are advising motorists to seek alternative routes while officers conduct their investigation.
