Barcelona coach ready to reshape attack against Sevilla – report

As Barcelona prepare for their upcoming home game against Sevilla, there are signs that head coach Hansi Flick could make adjustments to the team’s attack.

According to a report from German Bona in SPORT, Flick is considering rotating his attacking options as upcoming demanding fixtures, including Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, weigh heavily on him.

Barcelona have struggled with a number of injury concerns during the recent international break. Lamine Yamal is struggling with a hamstring strain, raising concerns about his fitness.

Additionally, star striker Robert Lewandowski appeared to be in pain while playing for Poland, which only adds to the team’s worries.

There’s more to it than that

Ferran Torres, another key player in the squad, is currently out with a muscle injury and is not expected to return until early December.

Meanwhile, Raphinha has a busy schedule having just played for Brazil, where he scored two goals against Peru.

Given his heavy workload and travel, it is understandable that Hansi Flick is now thinking about possible changes in attack for the upcoming game against Sevilla.

The team is cautious with its main striker as Lewandowski is being watched closely.

Changes expected

It is said that Barcelona will resume training on Thursday, after a day’s rest on Wednesday. This session focuses on the recovery of players returning from international duty and gives the coaching staff the opportunity to assess their physical condition.

Given the intense schedule ahead with key games next week, it is likely that Flick will opt for some rotations in the squad against Sevilla. Players like Ansu Fati and Pau Víctor could be asked to step up and fill the gaps in attack.

The decision to make these changes seems sensible as Barcelona look to manage their squad carefully and keep an eye on the bigger challenges.
