There is early voting for the presidential election; Here’s who’s next

Thirteen states have begun in-person early voting for this year’s general election, with 30 more scheduled to begin throughout the remainder of October.

Election Day is less than three weeks away and states across the United States have already begun in-person early voting.

Polls show the choice between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump is dead after a tumultuous campaign that saw President Joe Biden replaced by Harris and multiple assassination attempts on Trump.

The first state in the country to begin voting was Alabama, which sent mail-in ballots to eligible voters as early as September 11, but the state does not have in-person early voting options.

North Carolina was originally supposed to be the first state, but that was delayed by the legal process to remove Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name from the ballot after he withdrew from the race.

Since voting is already underway in other states and voting is expected to begin soon in others, in-person, early voting is taking place here throughout the county.
