  • Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of sexual assault in new lawsuits.

  • They are the start of a wave of more than 100 lawsuits expected over the next month.

  • Combs already faces a dozen lawsuits as well as federal sex trafficking charges.

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been accused of rape, molestation of a teenager and sexual assault in six new lawsuits against the embattled hip-hop music mogul.

The lawsuits, filed Monday in federal court in Manhattan, are part of a larger wave of complaints Combs is expected to face. Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee said in September that his firm represents 120 accusers who he said will file lawsuits against Combs.

Buzbee said the cases would also include allegations against other celebrities. The lawsuits detail alleged incidents that occurred between 1991 and 2024, involving men, women and minors of that time, he said during a news conference in September.

“The claims we plan to bring include the following: violent sexual assault or rape, sexual abuse, facilitated sex with a controlled substance, false imprisonment, forced prostitution, sexual misconduct, distribution of video recordings and sexual abuse of minors,” Buzbee said at the time .

One of the plaintiffs, a man named John Doe who now lives in North Carolina, accused Combs of abusing him at one of Diddy’s famous white parties in the Hamptons in 1998.

The complaint states that he was 16 years old when he was invited to the party through a mutual connection, hoping it would be a chance to break into the music industry.

At the party, he met Combs, who, during a conversation about the music industry, asked him to “drop his pants and expose his penis so Combs could inspect it,” the complaint says.

Out of “fear, anxiety and the unbalanced power dynamic,” the plaintiff listened to Combs, an attorney for the man, now in his 40s, said.

The lawsuit alleges that Combs described the act as a rite of passage and quoted him as saying, “Don’t you want to break into the store?”

Combs continued to fondle the plaintiff’s genitals “for an extended period of time,” the lawsuit says.

Combs’ lawyers released a statement Monday again denying that the artist ever committed sexual assault. They called the lawsuits filed Monday an attempt to “generate publicity.”

“Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defense and the integrity of the legal process,” the attorneys said. “The truth will prevail in court: that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, man or woman.”

A Manhattan grand jury indicted Combs in September on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation for the purpose of prostitution. He also faces at least a dozen civil lawsuits accusing him of sexual misconduct.

Until Monday, Combs had only been accused of sexual activity with adults in civil and criminal cases.

The rapper and entrepreneur has vehemently denied the allegations and all previous allegations of sexual assault or misconduct against him.

Combs’ legal troubles began last November when his former girlfriend Cassandra Ventura sued him, accusing him of molestation and rape. The two reached an agreement and Combs initially denied wrongdoing but later apologized for his behavior when footage of him physically abusing her in a California hotel came to light.

After Ventura’s lawsuit, other women came forward and filed additional lawsuits accusing Combs of a variety of acts, including drug use and rape.

The federal investigation into Combs was already underway at the time. The investigation became public in March when Department of Homeland Security agents searched Diddy’s homes in Los Angeles and Miami. Combs was arrested in September on three felony charges.

Prosecutors accuse Combs and his associates of exploiting “the power and prestige” of Combs’ success to “intimidate, threaten and lure female victims into his orbit,” “often under the guise of a romantic relationship.”

“Freak offs,” which prosecutors describe in court papers as “elaborate and manufactured sexual performances that Combs arranged, staged, during which he masturbated and were often electronically recorded,” are at the heart of his prosecution.

Prosecutors also allege he assaulted women by “hitting, punching, dragging, throwing objects and kicking” them.

Combs remains locked up in a notorious Brooklyn prison after his request to be released on a $50 million bond package was rejected twice.

Diddy was placed in the same dormitory as Sam Bankman-Fried, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison for fraud after stealing $8 billion from customers of his crypto exchange FTX.
