A teenager died in a possible accidental shooting in the West Valley

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a homicide after a teenager was shot in the 7100 block of West Bramble Court Wednesday evening.

Officers said they were dispatched to the scene around 7:17 p.m. on a report that a teenager was suffering from a gunshot wound. When emergency responders arrived, they began providing immediate medical care to the injured teenager.

The teen was taken to an area hospital, but police said the teen later died.

Police said three other juveniles were arrested at the scene, including the suspected shooter.

Police said their preliminary investigation suggests the shooting may have been an accident.

This case is now being treated as a homicide while investigators are on the way.
