One dead in murder in university town

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a person was killed in the University City area Wednesday evening.

It happened in the 400 block of Falling Waters Court at the Arcadia Student Living apartment complex.

No further details were released, but Medic determined one person was dead at the scene.
