An employee died after masked suspects opened fire at a luxury clothing store

SAN ANTONIO – An employee is dead after masked suspects opened fire at a clothing store.

On Wednesday around 7:20 p.m., police responded to the scene of a shooting in progress at the corner of San Pedro and West Hermine Boulevard, north of downtown.

When police arrived, they found a luxury clothing store with broken windows and an employee with multiple gunshot wounds.

The employee, a man in his early 20s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police said witnesses near the scene told them that three masked suspects arrived at the scene in a dark gray SUV, got out and opened fire on the storefront.

Investigators are still looking for a motive for the shooting as nothing appears to have been stolen from the location.

The business suffered extensive damage, broken windows and bullet holes throughout the building.

The suspects remain at large because police do not have a license plate number for the vehicle.
