CSU is under protection after serious bodily harm near dormitories

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Colorado State University’s campus is under a curfew after a serious stabbing attack occurred near several residence halls.

In a message to students, CSU said the attack occurred near Laurel Hall on the Oval. The suspect fled after the incident.

The CSU described the suspect as a white man in his 30s. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and carrying a black backpack.

CSU said there is an ongoing threat because the man may still be on campus. Everyone on campus should seek shelter and call 911 in the event of an emergency.

CSU said this incident is unrelated to a previous incident in Laurel Village.

This is a developing story.
