A Las Vegas man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a neighbor, according to police

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A man has died after he was allegedly stabbed by his own neighbor in downtown Las Vegas Tuesday night.

According to police, the stabbing occurred after an argument between two men. According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, officers located the suspect, Ulysses Grant, 76, at an apartment unit near Fremont and 9th Street.

Police were directed to another unit where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds. The man received medical attention, but staff pronounced him dead at the scene.

Metro police said they determined Grant and the victim got into an argument at the victim’s apartment. During the argument, Grant produced a knife and stabbed the victim, police said.

Grant is currently being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
