A 61-year-old woman dies in a crash in northwest Las Vegas

A woman injured in a three-vehicle crash in the northwest Las Vegas Valley more than a month ago has died, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The 61-year-old was driving a 2021 Kia Soul that was involved in a collision at North Buffalo Drive and Smoke Ranch Road on Sept. 13 around 9 p.m., police said.

She was taken to University Medical Center and the Clark County Coroner’s Office told Metro that she died on Oct. 11, making her the 124th traffic-related death in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.

The woman’s identity and the cause and nature of the deficiency were not released by the coroner’s office.

Three other people were slightly injured in the collision, police said.
