Former Jets head coach Robert Saleh was spotted visiting a grocery store in New Jersey on Tuesday for the first time since being fired by the franchise.

Saleh, who was relieved of his duties following the Jets’ loss to the Vikings in London, was photographed at a Whole Foods in Florham Park – the same city where Gang Green trains.

The 45-year-old wore a gray hoodie and blue jeans while shopping and completed the look with a white pair of Nike Air Max.

In London, the coach had worn a Lebanon flag patch on his sweatshirt (not for the first time) during the loss to Minnesota, when the Lebanese capital Beirut was bombed – in the midst of Israel’s conflict with Hezbollah.

There was some speculation that Saleh, whose parents are from Lebanon, was fired for wearing the patch, although TMZ later reported that it was not a factor in the decision.

On Tuesday, a reporter from the outlet asked Saleh the same question, and he did not respond.

Saleh was also asked if people could expect to see him on the sidelines again soon, to which he replied: “God willing.”

There were also suggestions that quarterback Aaron Rodgers may have played a role in Saleh being fired amid the team’s difficult start to the season.

However, the quarterback called these claims blatantly false.

“Yesterday was a day that reminds you of the simple fact that all of us who have played know all too well … and that it’s a tough business,” Rodgers said on The Pat McAfee Show.

“I love coach Saleh, we have a very solid relationship since I met him in 2021. He was a big reason why I came to the Jets.”

Rodgers also shared on the show his belief that Saleh would have been safe had the quarterback started the season in better shape.

The 40-year-old missed virtually all of last season due to a torn Achilles tendon and has yet to pass for more than 300 yards for the Jets.

He also has five interceptions in six games so far.

Still, Saleh’s firing was the first of many changes to come for the Jets.

First, defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich was named interim coach.

Afterwards, offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett was demoted and Todd Downing took over the game management.

The Jets also traded for All-Pro wideout — and close friend of Rodgers — Davante Adams.

During Saleh’s time as head coach – during which the team went 20-36 – the Jets regularly fielded one of the league’s strongest defenses – a unit he oversaw based on his previous experience as a defensive coordinator.

However, despite Rodgers’ return this season, Gang Green had a difficult start to the season offensively, averaging just 18.6 points per game in the first five games before Saleh was fired.

Things didn’t go much better in the first game after Saleh’s firing – the Jets scored 20 points in a home loss to the Bills.
