An anonymous threat increases police presence at a school on Hawaii Island

KONA (HawaiiNewsNow) – Students may notice a large police presence at Kealakehe Intermediate School this week.

This happened after an anonymous threat was made against the school, Hawaii Island police said.

The Hawaii Police Department learned of the threat around 1 p.m. Tuesday and began an investigation for fourth-degree terroristic threats.

The police are asking for help in identifying the terror suspect. However, a description has not been published.
