Video footage of a violent attack in Colorado with suspected involvement of the Venezuelan gang TdA

Recently released security footage at a troubled building in Colorado showed an alleged brutal attack on a man the landlord identified as the apartment manager.

The apartment buildings in Aurora have gained national attention after locals and senior politicians claimed that a Venezuelan gang known as Tren de Aragua had seized power and allegedly committed crimes.

CBZ Management, the company that operates the apartment complexes, released a photo of the apartment manager with a bloody and bruised face.

The article on ignored the crisis, but also made us a scapegoat in order to avoid responsibility.”

According to a CBZ representative, the manager was brutally attacked in late 2023 when he refused to accept a $500 bribe from a group of men who had occupied a vacant apartment.

A video of the alleged attack was also shared on the company’s newly created X account.

Warning, the video is disturbing and may be difficult to watch:

One person can be seen falling to the ground and being repeatedly kicked by the group.

A CBZ representative claimed the manager needed to be hospitalized for his injuries. Screenshots of text messages allegedly sent to the manager threatened him after the incident.

A police report obtained by local media shows that the property manager has taken legal action.

The report identified one of the alleged attackers as Yoendry Vilchez Medina. According to the city of Aurora, which released a statement in August addressing the gang’s concerns, Medina has been documented as a member of the Tren de Aragua gang.

According to that statement, Medina was arrested on August 5 on a warrant for a November 2023 assault at Whispering Pines Condominiums. This property is operated by CBZ Management according to the website. Medina was charged with menacing and assault.

According to CBZ management, the purpose of the newly created X account is to prove that the Venezuelan gang has taken over its complexes and is present in Aurora.

The company said it had pulled workers away from its properties for safety reasons.

Concerns have grown in recent months that the Tren de Aragua gang could take over and exploit the Biden administration’s Advance Travel Authorizations program.

According to the federal government, the parole program allows Venezuelans, Cubans, Haitians and Nicaraguans to travel within the United States.

During a town hall meeting on Wednesday, former Donald Trump brought up the takeover allegations.

He said: “We had this in Aurora, Colorado, where Venezuelan street gangs have taken over a large part of the city and homes, and everyone is petrified. The state’s governor is petrified. He’s a radical leftist, he has no idea what we should do. Not every state can have that.
