Rap and fashion mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing multiple civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault and rape dating back 20 years. According to NBC News, six complaints have been filed in the Southern District of New York by four men and two women, with the alleged abusive acts taking place between 1995 and 2021.

One of the complainants alleges that Combs raped her in a Manhattan hotel in 2004 when she was a 19-year-old student. The second complainant alleges that Combs raped her in a bathroom during a video release party in New York City in 1995. One of the four male complainants claims he was 16 years old when Combs sexually assaulted him at one of his infamous white parties in Hamptons in 1998.

As The Wrap reported:

According to the then-teenage victim, he was invited by a mutual friend to the party at Combs’ mansion, where he met the rapper (an apparent picture of the couple from the event in question is included in the legal documents). “Combs was interested in John Doe” and they had pleasant conversations about the entertainment industry, the lawsuit says. “When John Doe admitted that his voice wasn’t great, Combs assured him that it didn’t matter. Combs made it clear that all that mattered was having the right look for the industry, and with that Combs could turn Doe – or anyone else – into a star.”

However, “Combs abruptly told John Doe that he needed to drop his pants. John Doe was completely unprepared and confusingly asked Combs to repeat himself. Combs made it clear. “He instructed John Doe to drop his pants and expose his penis so Combs could inspect it, explaining it was a rite of passage and the path to becoming a star and also a way to prove himself,” it says in the lawsuit.

“Out of fear, anxiety and the unbalanced power dynamic between him and Combs, John Doe then dropped his pants and exposed his penis as Combs had previously instructed,” it continues. “Combs approached and grabbed John Doe’s penis and genitals in his hand. He firmly grasped John Doe’s genitals and held them for an extended period of time. During this time, Combs moved his hand so that he was manipulating John Doe’s genitals by squeezing and feeling them…Combs then abruptly released John Doe’s genitals and told him that his people would stay in touch. Combs continued his party as if nothing had happened, but for John Doe everything had changed.”

A male complainant claims Combs sexually assaulted him during one of the rapper’s “white parties” held in the Hamptons in 2006. Another male complainant, one of Diddy’s employees, claims Combs sexually assaulted him in a Manhattan clothing store in 2008 and fired him after he reported the incident. Another male accuser claims he was drugged against his will at a Diddy party in 2021 and then sexually assaulted by Combs and several others after becoming disoriented.

HOUSTON, TEXAS – OCTOBER 1: Houston attorney Tony Buzbee holds a press conference at his office announcing the over 100 individual cases he has pending against Sean Diddy Combs on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Houston. (Elizabeth Conley/Houston Chronicle via Getty Images)

Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee represents litigants under New York’s Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Protection Act, which allows assault victims to file charges in cases that otherwise would not have been allowed under previous statutes of limitations. Buzbee has indicated that he has more cases like this in the pipeline, stating, “We’re just going to try to file cases that we think are credible and legitimate.”

“There’s an overarching theme here, as you can probably tell, which is that Sean Combs basically feels like he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants to,” Buzbee added.

A recently resurfaced video from 2009 shows Sean “Diddy” Combs and then-15-year-old Justin Bieber talking about “finding some girls” over a weekend together. The clip, originally posted on Bieber’s YouTube, has drawn new attention amid allegations of underage sexual assault against Combs by other men. In the video, Diddy offers Bieber his mansion and Lamborghini, both implying that girls attend their hangout. The re-emergence has sparked controversy, with recent Christian convert Justin Bieber reportedly “completely disgusted” by the scandal involving his former mentor Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Combs was arrested last month after being indicted by a grand jury on charges including sex trafficking and racketeering. He pleaded not guilty to the charges and remains in jail while his case goes to trial. The arrest has also led to a number of Hollywood celebrities being charged for their attendance at Diddy’s celebrity-filled parties in the past.

Buzbee also claims that several Hollywood stars paid off alleged victims to keep them out of the public eye and away from the allegations against Combs.
