According to Bloomberg, Biden could limit the export of AI chips to some countries

U.S. officials are considering capping sales of Nvidia’s AI chips (NVDA) And AMD (AMD) to certain countries in the interest of national security, Bloomberg’s Mackenzie Hawkins reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The focus is on Persian Gulf countries that have a growing need for data centers, say respondents, who add that considerations are still at an early stage and still fluid.
