Suspect arrested after overnight stabbing at Redding Deluxe Inn

REDDING, Calif. – A stabbing was reported in Redding early Wednesday morning.

Police responded around 2:30 a.m. to the Deluxe Inn on N Market Street, across from Wienerschnitzel.

Five Redding police patrol cars and an ambulance were on scene.

One person was treated in the ambulance by paramedics.

Police descended on the motel to investigate. An officer at the scene told KRCR that one person had been arrested.

Police have not been able to confirm the suspect’s identity, determine who was stabbed or how many people may have been involved. But the official said: “Everyone will be fine.”
