Paul Pierce is still emotional about his stabbing attack at Boston Celtic

Hall of Fame forward Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics may be a legend for playing all 82 games of the 2000-01 NBA season after being stabbed 11 times in a Boston nightclub and almost dying, barring the quick reaction his teammate Tony Battie.

But although his body quickly recovered from the attack, Pierce’s mental health was also severely affected and it took the Inglewood native much longer to feel like himself again. Pierce even admitted to carrying a gun for a time as a result of this incident, and not long ago he spoke about it with the host of the same name on an episode of the “Draymond Green” show.

The harrowing story and its aftermath remain a must-watch for Celtics and Truth fans. See for yourself in the clip embedded below.
