Fannin County, TX – TThree of the five people who died in a serious two-vehicle accident in Fannin County on Monday night have been identified as Telugu people from Andhra Pradesh.

The victims were identified by Telugu media as Gopi Tirumuru, Rajineni Shiva and Haritha. All three victims and a fourth person, identified as Sai Chennu, were in a car. The other two people killed in the accident were in a different car. Chennu was critically injured in the collision and remains in hospital.

According to DPS, the fatal incident occurred when a driver attempted to pass traffic in a no-passing zone and struck another car head-on on Highway 121 between Trenton and Bonham. Both cars caught fire after the collision,

Fannin County, TX – Five people were killed in a two-vehicle crash near Randolph in Fannin County on Monday evening, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The fatal crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. Oct. 14 on State Highway 121 at County Road 4165, about six miles south of Bonham.

According to the DPS, five people died in the incident. The names of the victims were not immediately released.

One person suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
