One injured in accident on Tuesday | News, sports, jobs

One person was taken to UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center following this two-car accident at Fifth Avenue South and 29th Street Tuesday evening. The accident was reported at 7:43 p.m. There were two cars involved that appeared to be traveling eastbound on Fifth Avenue South. A long section of the eastbound lanes of Fifth Avenue South was closed to traffic while Fort Dodge police and firefighters worked at the scene. The accident remained under investigation by Fort Dodge police Tuesday evening.
