Dan Fogelman NFL drama series commissioned by Hulu

Dan Fogelman is expanding his presence on Hulu with a third series. The streamer has given a series order to a one-hour project written and executive produced by the This Is Us creator.

Like Fogelman’s previous creation for Hulu, a series starring This Is Us’ Sterling K. Brown that was eventually named Paradise, the new project has neither a title nor an official premise. It’s believed to be a sprawling drama set in the world of the NFL with a cross-generational family component.

Following Hulu’s crime comedy “Only Murders In the Building,” which he executive produced, and the upcoming thriller “Paradise,” which he created and executive produced, Fogelman returns to the cross-generational family drama genre that was at the heart of “This Is.” Us” formed.
