Kelly Marie Tran, Benedict Wong and Jimmy O. Yang star in the drama “Rock Springs” from “Two Sentence Horror Stories” creator Vera Miao

The plot of the drama revolves around a grieving young girl who, after the death of her father, moves to Rock Springs, Wy., along with her mother and grandmother, only to discover that something monstrous lies hidden in the history of the town and the forests beyond new house.

Aria Kim (Whisper) and Fiona Fu (Tigertail) also star in the pic, from Macro Film Studios, Juniper Productions, Mandalay Pictures, Counterculture and Gold House. Macro, Juniper and Gold House co-finance.

Miao, whose “Two Sentence Horror Stories” ran for three seasons on the CW, came up with the idea for “Rock Springs” and was developed by Counterculture, which hired Macro to produce and finance it.
