The search continues for a man suspected in a shooting in Mineral County

SUPERIOR — The search continues for a suspect accused of shooting one man in the arm and wounding another by hitting him in the head with a gun on Sunday.

The Mineral County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about a shooting in Saltese around 4:30 p.m

Officers attempted to locate the suspect and his vehicle, but only found a crashed car.

A drone search failed to find the suspect, identified as Willie Joe Richardson, who ran from the scene.

A pistol found in the vehicle served as evidence.
