WATCH LIVE: DeSantis press conference from Tampa

Tampa –
governor Ron DeSantis will hold a press conference in Tampa on Tuesday, October 15th. He is expected to provide detailed information Florida statewide recovery efforts and highly specific recovery efforts in Tampa Hillsborough County.

Florida’s west coast has recovered Hurricane Miltonwhich landed nearby Siesta key last week and devastated the region with heavy rain and wind.

Florida took many actions to support Hurricane Milton recovery efforts, including distributing ten gallons of gasoline to residents in need, providing water and MREs to comfort stations, and deploying line crews to restore electric accounts across the state.

Kevin Guthrie, Chief of the Florida Division of Emergency Management, Chief of the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Dave Kerner, Maj. Gen. John D. Haas, Adjutant General of the State of Florida, Susan “Suzy” Lopez, Sheriff of the 13th Judicial District of Florida, Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister will join DeSantis.
