According to police, an ATM at North Canton Bank was stolen using a stolen forklift

NORTH CANTON, Ohio (WOIO) – A forklift stolen from a Wendy’s construction site was used to steal a Fifth Third Bank’s ATM, the North Canton Police Department confirmed.

NCPD said they received a call from Fifth Third Bank Security about the theft at 4:03 a.m. on Oct. 15.

Officers went to the bank at 1637 N. Main St. and found the forklift had been abandoned behind the building, along with debris from the ATM, NCPD said.

How much money was stolen from the ATM has yet to be revealed, according to NCPD.

NCPD learned the forklift was stolen from the Wendy’s construction site in the 200 block of Applegrove Street NW.

The theft remains under investigation, NCPD said.
