Apple TV+ unveils trailer for second season of acclaimed hit drama Silo, premiering November 15th

Apple’s global hit drama Silo returns for a second season on Apple TV+ with the first episode on Friday, November 15, followed by a new episode every Friday until January 17, 2025.

Apple TV+ on Tuesday unveiled the trailer for the second season of Silo, the global hit drama based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels. Created by Emmy-nominated screenwriter Graham Yost, who also serves as showrunner, and starring and executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson. The 10-episode second season will premiere worldwide on Apple TV+ with the first episode on Friday, November 15, followed by a new episode every Friday until January 17, 2025.

“Silo” is the story of the last ten thousand people on Earth, whose miles-deep home protects them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when and why the silo was built, and anyone who tries to find out will face fatal consequences. Ferguson plays Juliette, an engineer searching for answers to the murder of a loved one who stumbles upon a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to the realization that the truth can kill you will, if not the lies.

In addition to Ferguson, the second season of Silo stars newcomer Steve Zahn, alongside returning stars Tim Robbins, Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, Alexandria Riley, Shane McRae, Remmie Milner, Clare Perkins, Billy Postlethwaite and Rick Gomez, Caitlin Zoz, Tanya Moodie and Iain Glen.

Silo is produced by Apple Studios for Apple TV+. The series is executive produced by Yost, Michael Dinner, Nina Jack, Joanna Thapa, Ferguson, Morten Tyldum, Howey, Fred Golan, Rémi Aubuchon and AMC Studios.

Apple TV+ offers premium, compelling drama and comedy series, feature films, groundbreaking documentaries, and children’s and family entertainment and can be watched on all of a user’s favorite screens. Launched on November 1, 2019, Apple TV+ was the first all-original streaming service to launch globally, premiering more original hits and winning more awards faster than any other streaming service. To date, Apple Original films, documentaries and series have garnered 517 wins and 2,321 nominations, including the multi-Emmy Award-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” and the Academy Award winner for Best Picture “CODA.”
