West Farms: 22-year-old man dies from fatal stab wounds

A 22-year-old man has died after a knife attack in West Farms, police said.

An NYPD spokesperson said that around 2:27 a.m. on Tuesday, October 15, police responded to a 911 call regarding a man being aided at East 178th Street and Bryant Avenue. “Upon arrival, officers found a 22-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to the chest, stomach, back and arm, who was unconscious and unresponsive,” the spokesman said.

Police said emergency medical services responded and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries. They said there were no arrests and the investigation was ongoing.
