A man from Bengaluru dies in a tragic accident near Kerekodi

A tragic accident Occurred near Kerekodi in Shivamogga district on Sunday when a tourist van on its way to Sigandur overturned, killing a 26-year-old man from Nelamangala, Bengaluru. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a nearby rice field.

The car was carrying a group of young tourists from Bengaluru. In addition to the deceased, several passengers including Nandan from Kodagu, Kodanda from Kolar, Bharath from Hassan and Yogesh from Mandya were seriously injured.

Kumsi police are currently on scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
