A cabin in the woods offered for booking ahead of the 2024 presidential election sold out in seconds after a nearly 97% discount was offered to the public.

Urban Cowboy Lodge is a mountain retreat in the Big Indian Wilderness in Catskill Park in Claryville, New York, about three hours north of New York City.

In partnership with Sensible Weather, a weather protection provider, Urban Cowboy Lodge announced a limited-time “Presidential Rate” for a typical stay of $750/night for the week of November 1-7.

Bookings opened this up for the monumental time in America and guarantees an unplugged experience for the 2024 presidential election.

For $24 a night, travelers stay in a forest suite with luxurious bathtubs, rainfall showers, and saunas. Hiking and yoga are also offered.

According to the company’s website, Urban Cowboy Lodge is taking travelers’ phones at check-in and replacing them with a Polaroid camera to completely remove them from social media and any news surrounding the election results.

“After you cast your vote (whether by absentee ballot, absentee ballot or early voting), you can trade the anxiety of election week for the serenity of a mountain escape,” the website says.

A recent study by US News & World Report found that the 2024 presidential election is one of Americans’ top five worries before bed.

Dr. Chris Mosunic, chief clinical officer at Calm in San Francisco, told Fox News Digital it’s “no surprise” that the upcoming election is one of the biggest worries keeping Americans sleeping at night.

“When it comes to getting a good night’s sleep, especially during moments of heightened anxiety like the election, practicing healthy habits is crucial to calming down at night,” he said.

Blair Staunton, vice president of marketing at Sensible Weather, a weather protection provider for the travel and hospitality industries that works with Urban Cowboy Lodge, told Fox News Digital that the increase in quiet travel and fear of the election have helped push this offering into the fold to call life.
