The lockdown at VSU was lifted after police reported shots fired on campus

PETERSBURG, Va. (AP) — A lockdown has been lifted at Virginia State University after campus police said shots were fired on campus.

The VSU police gave up

Chesterfield Police were also on scene and investigating. The closure was lifted about an hour later, just after 8:30 p.m.

It is not yet known whether anyone was injured.
