He looked emotional in the pictures. In one of the family portraits, his 16-year-old daughter Anelise was seen playing the electric guitar next to her father.

Foxx had a medical emergency that left him unsure if he would survive, he previously said.

The actor posted a video on Instagram last year in which he tearfully spoke about his suffering and why he kept the details of his physical condition secret. He captioned the video: “Thank you everyone…it’s been a long road but all the prayers great people and God got me through…”
