Man dies after dirt bike accident in Ocala National Forest

OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) – We’re learning more about a fatal dirt bike accident in the Ocala National Forest over the weekend.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 59-year-old man was riding a dirt bike along a dirt road in the Ocala National Forest near the Lake County line around 11 a.m. Sunday morning.

They say he hit two trees and was thrown off his bike.

Officials said he was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
