Experts warn that it is an infection with sexually transmitted diseases Mycoplasma genitalium (MG) can be distributed very quickly in large quantities.

What are the symptoms?

There are often no symptoms with MG. However, when patients do experience symptoms, they are often similar to the symptoms of chlamydia and gonorrhea.

British experts say that if the spread of the infection is not prevented, around 3,000 women in the UK alone suffering from Mg-related pelvic inflammatory disease could be at increased risk of infertility.

Symptoms in men:
– Water “leaks” from the penis
– Burning, pain and stinging when urinating

Symptoms in women:
– Pain during sex
– Bleeding after sex
