According to Anadolu News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was taken to a secure, fortified area of ​​a hospital in northern Israel on Monday evening as air raid sirens sounded about a possible rocket attack from Lebanon.

When the sirens went off, Netanyahu was at Hillel Yaffe Hospital in the city of Hadera, visiting Israeli soldiers injured in a Hezbollah drone strike on Sunday that killed four soldiers and injured dozens more, according to the Israeli public legal broadcaster KAN reported.

After the sirens sounded, his security guards took him to a fortified area of ​​the hospital, KAN added.

KAN noted that 41 soldiers injured by Hezbollah drone strikes are being treated in hospitals in northern Israel, including six in serious condition.

After the attack, Israel, including Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, vowed retaliation against Hezbollah and Lebanon.
