Idaho Steelhead | STEELHEADS ANNOUNCE BROADCAST RIGHTS AND 2024-25 RADIO SHOW

BOISE, ID – The Idaho steelhead (@Steelheads), proud ECHL (@ECHL) Subsidiary of Dallas Stars (@DallasStars), today announced broadcast rights for the 2024-25 regular season, which begins this Friday.

All 72 Steelheads regular season games and playoffs will be broadcast exclusively on KTIK-1350AM, 95-3 FM KTIK and ktik.com. KTIK will serve as the official flagship station of the Idaho Steelheads and coverage will begin 20 minutes before puck drop St. Luke’s Pre-Game Show Both at home and on the go.

Furthermore, the Steelheads Hockey Show, presented by New Belgium Mountain Time Premium Lager returns Thursday, October 17 on KTIK-1350AM and 95.3FM. The radio show airs three days a week from 6 to 7 p.m. and features numerous interviews and conversations with hockey personalities, including current players, staff, former players and staff, as well as names from across the hockey industry. Fans also have the opportunity to stop by and voice their opinions on current plays and stories.

For television and streaming, the Steelheads broadcast all home games locally KTVB 24/7 (Channel 7.2). Cam McGuire enters its third season as “The Voice of the Steelheads” with different color commentators throughout the season. McGuire was named ECHL Media/PR Director of the Year the past two years and was named ECHL Broadcaster of the Year in 2022. It will broadcast all 72 regular season games and playoffs as well as all editions of the Steelheads Hockey Show, presented by New Belgian Mountain Time Premium Lager.
