The Central Pennsylvania restaurant also offers a liquor license and wood-fired pizza

A restaurant in central Pennsylvania sells wine, beer and cocktails with Italian cuisine.

Ferrante’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant at 205 Pauline Drive in York Township, York County recently received a limited liquor license.

Carmelo Ferrante, who was born in Sicily, previously managed restaurants such as Wood Fire Italian Grill in York County.

This year, the couple sold Alba Cafe at 4902 Louise Drive in the Rossmoyne Business Center in Lower Allen Township and said they transferred the liquor license. The Ferrantes sell their own line of wines.

Carmelo Ferrante said the restaurant offers wood-fired pizzas in addition to wine, beer and Pennsylvania spirits.

Otherwise, the menu includes traditional pizzas with homemade sauces and high-quality mozzarella, as well as sandwiches, wings, salads and homemade pastas such as fettuccine, gemelli and spaghetti.

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is closed on Mondays.
