Back in Action star Jamie Foxx gives a one-man show about mysterious health problems

Jamie Foxx opened up about his mysterious health scare during a one-man show in Atlanta.

Foxx, 56, took the stage for “One More Chance: An Evening with Jamie Foxx” for the first time since his health scare.

“God is good…As I post these pictures my heart and soul are filled with nothing but pure joy…on October 3rd and 5th I had the opportunity to tell my side of the story and there was no better place than Atlanta , Georgia,” the “Django Unchained” actor wrote on Instagram on Monday.

“When people ask me if this is a stand-up comedy show, I say no, it’s an artistic explanation. Something went terribly wrong, but thanks to the great people in Atlanta, especially at Piedmont Hospital, they made it possible for me to come back and be on stage. “Doing what I love doing…” he added.

Representatives for Foxx did not respond to Fox News Digital’s immediate request for comment.

The Oscar-winning actor chatted with concerned fans outside a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona in July and tried to provide answers about what happened when he suffered a “medical complication.”

“See, April 11th of last year, bad headache, I asked my boy for an Advil,” Foxx said before snapping his fingers. “I was gone for 20 days.”

“I don’t remember anything,” Jamie told fans in the restaurant. “So they told me – I’m in Atlanta – they told me, my sister and my daughter, they took me to the first doctor and they said… ‘No,’ gave me a cortisone shot.”

“The next doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there.’ I won’t say it on camera. But it was…” Foxx said, nodding thoughtfully.

The Grammy winner has eight projects planned for the future, according to IMDb, and filming on “Back in Action” wrapped last year after production was halted due to his medical scare.

At that time, production continued with a body double until Foxx returned to set.

The film also features Cameron Diaz’s return to the big screen after her last starring role in 2014, where she worked alongside Foxx in Annie.
