Rochester man charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – Olmsted County officials arrested a suspect who was the subject of an investigation into the sexual assault of a minor.

Levi Vivier, a 43-year-old from Rochester, was arrested Friday, Oct. 11, and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

The investigation that led to Vivier’s arrest began when a minor alerted authorities that he had been sexually abused by Vivier on multiple occasions.

The victim also stated that Vivier displayed a handgun in front of him on at least one occasion, causing the victim to fear for his safety.

According to the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Vivier is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
