Police – NBC 6 South Florida

Police are investigating after a shooting in North Miami Beach early Monday morning, officials said.

The shooting occurred in the 1300 block of NE 153rd Street.

Police cannot currently confirm whether anyone was hit in the incident, but the investigation is ongoing.

Nearby, about 20 streets north of this incident, the police presence was heavier and investigators placed evidence markers on the ground.

At this point, police have not been able to connect the two incidents.
