Citroën shows C4 and C4 X at the Paris Motor Show

The Stellantis brand Citroën will unveil the new C4 and C4 X at the Paris Motor Show this week.

The new C4 and C4 X will be available in both hybrid and electric versions.

Citroën is introducing two different hybrid performance levels: Hybrid 136 on the new C4 and C4 The brand says it is particularly beneficial for city drivers, where it is estimated that up to 50% of journeys can be carried out in electric mode, reducing the carbon footprint and operating costs reduced.

ADAS features

The new C4 and C4 include:

  • Active safety brake: This system intervenes when a risk of collision is detected and automatically brakes the vehicle to avoid an accident.
  • Collision risk warning: At speeds of 29 km/h or more, this function warns the driver of the possible risk of a collision with the vehicle in front and allows him to react quickly.
  • Highway Driver Assist: This Level 2 semi-autonomous driving system combines adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning, allowing partial delegation of driving while maintaining driver alertness and control.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go: This device adjusts the speed to the vehicle in front, maintains a safe distance and even stops and starts the vehicle without driver intervention.
  • Top Rear View Camera: Activates when reversing to display a 180-degree rear view on the touchscreen, with color indicators warning of nearby obstacles.
  • Vision 360: 360-degree panoramic view around the vehicle, updated in real time to assist the driver during low-speed maneuvers.
