Four Israeli soldiers were killed in a Hezbollah drone attack in northern Israel

TEL AVIV – The Israeli military said early Monday that four soldiers were killed and seven others were seriously injured in Hezbollah’s drone strike on an army base next to Binyamina in northern Israel.

The Iran-backed Lebanese group said it attacked a camp at the Israeli military’s Golani Brigade camp in Binyamina, northern Israel, with a “swarm of drones.”

The Israeli military said four of its soldiers were killed and seven were seriously injured in the incident.

The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah resumed a year ago when the Iran-backed group began firing rockets at Israeli positions in support of Hamas at the start of the Gaza war, and has escalated sharply in recent weeks.
