Tragic road accidents claim three lives in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, October 14: At least three people were killed in two separate road accidents in Odisha on Monday, one in Sorepur district and another in Jajpur.

In the first incident, two motorcyclists were killed in a head-on collision near Katapali in Binika police area of ​​Sonepur district.

According to sources, the incident occurred when two speeding bikes collided head-on. The force of the impact was so severe that one driver died on the spot. The other biker sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to VIMSAR in Burla where he later succumbed to his injuries.

In another accident near Chhatia in Jajpur district, another motorcyclist died while two others sustained serious injuries when a motorcycle hit a private bus and jumped over the guard rail. The bus was on its way from Balasore to Bhubaneswar. After the accident, the bus caught fire but preliminary reports suggest that all passengers were safely rescued.
