BUTTERWORTH: A supervisor employed at a center affiliated to GISB Sdn Bhd will be charged with sexual abuse in the Sessions Court on Monday (Oct 14).

Muhammad Miqdam Muhammad Amir pleaded not guilty to the charges read to him by Sessions Judge Zulhazmi Abdullah.

Deputy Public Prosecutor Wan Amira Ruzaini Wan Abdul Razak led the case.

Lawyer Naqieya Zulkernain of the National Legal Aid Foundation (YBGK), representing the defendant, requested a lower bail, citing the defendant’s unstable income and responsibility for his ailing father.

Judge Zulhazmi granted bail of RM5,000 with one surety and ordered the accused to report to the nearest police station once a month and not to intimidate the victim and witnesses.
