Police are investigating reported shots fired

LONDON, Ky. (WYMT) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation after receiving reports of shots fired.

Sheriff’s investigators were dispatched to a business parking lot on US-25 around 10:36 a.m. Sunday. The car park is approximately one mile north of London.

When investigators arrived on scene, they learned that one man fired two shots at another. The two are reportedly cousins.

Investigators said the bullets passed through the windows of a car parked in the parking lot before hitting a Jeep passing on US-25.

No injuries were reported.

The two men left the scene before investigators arrived. Investigators collected evidence and interviewed witnesses at the scene.
