1 dead after motorcycle accident in Talladega County

TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. (WBRC) – A man has died following an early morning motorcycle accident on Alpine Winterboro Road on Thursday, October 10, near the Alpine community in Talladega County.

The Alabama Department of Law Enforcement identified 29-year-old Cody Hester of Talladega as the victim.

ALEA says Hester was thrown from his motorcycle when a driver of a Dodge Ram collided with his motorcycle. After the initial impact, the motorcycle left the roadway, crashed into a ditch and struck two trees, according to officials.

ALEA is currently investigating what caused the crash.
