Mounties face charges after man arrested on sexual assault charges at Kamloops motel – Kamloops News

A man was arrested on sexual assault charges at a Kamloops motel last weekend.

According to police, officers were called to a motel in the 600 block of Columbia Street West around 4 a.m. on Sunday, October 6th.

RCMP Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said the report concerns an allegation of sexual assault in which the parties were known to each other.

“As part of the investigation, a suspect was arrested,” she said. “He was released with a court date and conditions. Fee recommendations are awaited.”
